PHOENIX — Up to 30 separate wildfires blaze through dry and windy Arizona, drawing attention and aid from firefighters across the Western United States. The majority of the fire were ignited by lightning or humans, as winds and parched land fuel the inferno, said Tiffany Davila, a spokeswoman for the State Forestry Department. No one has been harmed, and just one vacant home has fallen victim. Evacuation orders have been established for atleast 30 homes in the area.
State Highway Route 180, 10 miles north of Flagstaff is closed and will continue to be until Sunday, once the State Department of Transportation will re-evaluate.
